This feature is used solely to sort and display relevant dive sites.

Dive Condition Reports

When you submit a condition report for a dive site, we store the following information:

• The nickname you provide.
• The visibility conditions you select.
• The current conditions you select.
• The timestamp of your submission.

This information is displayed publicly on the website to help other divers.

Contact Messages

When you use the contact form, we collect your name, your email address (if provided), and the content of your message. This information is stored privately and is used only to respond to your inquiry. It is not shared with third parties.

Dive Site Submissions

If you choose to submit a new dive site for review, we collect the following information:

• Site details (Name, Country, Coordinates).
• Your name as the submitter.
• Your email address (optional).
• Any notes you provide (optional).
• The timestamp of your submission.

This information is stored privately for review purposes. If the site is approved, only the site-specific details (name, country, coordinates) will be made public. Your personal details (name and email) will not be published. Once the review process is complete (either by approval or rejection), your personal information (name and email) is permanently deleted from our records.

Browser Storage for Submission Prevention

To prevent accidental duplicate submissions, our site may store a temporary, anonymous marker in your browser to remember if you have submitted a report for a specific site on the current day. This information is stored only on your device and is not sent to us.
